Notable foalings

Ears Carol, the dam of Who Shot Thebarman, has foaled a filly to resident stallion Raise The Flag at White Robe Lodge.  Who Shot Thebarman, winner of the  group  three Bart Cummings Handicap (2500m) at Flemington last month, the Auckland and Avondale Cups, finished third in the Melbourne Cup.

Other foalings at White Robe Lodge this season include a filly by Gallant Guru out of Emerald Fire; a colt by Raise The Flag from Perceptible; the first foals of Inferno, Elite Street, Danz A Rook and The Dewdrop,  a colt by Raise The Flag from Lesley Brook and a filly by the same sire from stakes winner, Cherry Creek.

Emerald Fire is the dam of Inferno (winner of the Gr 3 Canterbury Gold Cup in 2011 and 12) and stakes winner Ortem Fire. Inferno foaled a filly by Raise The Flag and The Dewdrop left a filly by the same sire. Elite Street foaled filly by Gallant Guru.

Elite Street had her racing career curtailed by a fractured pastern after she won the 2013 Invercargill Cup. She reverted to the ownership of Brian and Lorraine Anderton, after her injury in training eight weeks after her Invercargill Cup win. She spent some time in a box to recover. She was raced on lease by Invercargill owner-trainer, Murray Carter and won five races and $61,775.   The Invercargill Cup was the fourth win in a row for the daughter of Seasoned Star - Star Elite.

Danz A Rook (Danzighill - Dia A Rook), who won nine races for Winton owner-trainer, Val Christophers, foaled a filly to Raise The Flag.  Perceptible, now 17, is the dam of Anudjawun (by Yamanin Vital), who ran third to Who Shot Thebarman in the Bart Cummings.

Lesley Brook is the dam of Princess Brook, the 3yr-old filly who credited Raise The Flag with his first winner at Wingatui last month.

The Dewdrop won four races for the Dennis brothers. She is by O'Reilly from The Poseur.

She's Snubbed the dam of Include and Sharp Princess, has foaled a filly by Raise The Flag at Waikato Stud where she is visiting Savabeel.
