First Crop of Gallant Guru On Sale At Karaka

The Karaka Yearling Sales in early February 2010 wil see the first progeny of White Robe Lodge stallion GALLANT GURU go under the hammer.

The Select Sale sees three yearlings by the son of Montjeu on offer. They are a very attractive  brown colt out of the O'Reilly mare She's Snubbed, whose first foal is the promising Sharp Princess..Another of her progeny, a colt  by Scaredee Ca,t was one of the higest -priced yearlings at this sale two years ago.

The colt from Stage Flash is certain to attract attention,not only because of his pedigree ( he is a half-brother to the stakes-winning sprinter Cherry Creek ), but also for his physique and distinctive  appearance. He has a baldy white face similar to Apache Cat, and is bound to turn heads at Karaka.

A fiily out of The Gem gives buyers a rare opportunity to buy a filly from the Dennis Brothers famous family.and being out of a Personal Escort mare, she is one of the first representatives of what should be a most successful cross.  

A further three yearlings by the sire are being offerred at the Festival Sale. They are a brown filly from the Fasliyev mare Fasjade, a chestnut colt from High Star and a grey colt from the good stakes-placed racemare Pernella.
