Rising Sydney Star By Yamanin Vital

The ill-fated White Robe Lodge stallion Yamanin Vital has again shown that he can sire a top-class racehorse with his four year-old son HERCULIAN PRINCE continuing his winning streak in the JRA Plate (LR) at Randwick on Saturday.

It was the fourth consecutive Sydney win for the bold front-runner and confirmed  his trainer' Gai Waterhouse's claim that he is her future "Melbourne Cup horse." It was also his secod consecutive stakes -race victory, having been successful in the Neville Sellwood Stakes at Rosehill at his previous outing.

The horse was spotted in New Zealand by Robbie Waterhouse, the trainer's husband, where he looked to have outstanding potential when prepared at Matamata by Karen McQuade.
