- On the racetrack Gallant Guru was a serious highly competive racehorse. His career was prematurely ended at only age 4 when he was being set for major Group 1 tasks. Gallant Guru was the winner of 8 races. He was stakes placed at 2 years over 1050 metres. He won 4 in a row at 3 and 4 in a row at 4. These wins included the Group 2 Sandown Classic in track record time and the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth

Gallant Guru has all the credentials to make a champion sire himself. He is a truly impressive individual and is a really well balanced athletic type. He had untapped ability on the racetrack. We never saw the best of him. He had enough early maturity to be stakes placed at 2 over 1050m and then went on to win over 2400 and 2500 metres at 4.
