Well done Gallant Guru

White Robe Lodge sire, Gallant Guru sired four winners at the Southland Racing Club feature meeting on Saturday and another in Adelaide the same day.

He sired the Southland winners, Include ($25,000 open 1200m), The Barmaid, Gallant Boy and Gunna Fly. Too Cool to Fool won a $40,000 rating 90 2600m race at Morphettville, her sixth win.

Yamanin Vital, the defunct WR stallion, also sired The Bishop, winner of the $50,000 Invercargill Gold Cup at the Southland meeting. Yamanin Vital is the sire of the dam of Gunna Fly. Personal Escort, a former WR stallion, is the sire of the dams of The Barmaid and Gallant Boy.  Blessed Thee, the dam of The Bishop, is in foal to Gallant Guru. The Bishop and The Barmaid are owned and trained by breeders, the Dennis brothers.
