Yearlings for prominent trainers

Yearlings by Raise The Flag sold by White Robe Lodge at the New Zealand Bloodstock 2015 select yearling sale will go to prominent trainers.

The colt out of Personal Column bought by APS Racing, Singapore for $37,500 will be trained by Lance Noble at Matamata. The colt out of Woodini bought by Scott Richardson, Tauranga, is destined for the Cambridge stable of leading NZ trainers, Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman. A filly out of Ignite bought for $10,000 by Paul Moroney Bloodstock, of Matamata, will be trained there by Mike Moroney. The Moroney brothers will race the filly. The fourth offering from WR, a colt out of The Gem was passed in and carried a reserve of $20,000.

The stud arm of WR will turn attention to South Island yearling sale on April 17. "We expect to offer about 10 yearlings at the South Island sale,'' said Wayne Stewart, the stud manager.
