Boost for Sale offerings

Coulee and Gallant Defender, both  progeny of Gallant Guru, won $22,500 races for the White Robe Lodge stable at the Otago Racing Cub meeting at Wingatui on Saturday (5/3/2016).  It was the fourth win for Coulee (ex Cherry Creek) and the third for Gallant Defender (ex Upclosenpersonal). WR will offer a half sister by Raise The Flag to Coulee and a filly by Gallant Guru from Emerald Fire (the dam of Upclosenpersonal) at the South Island session of the New Zealand Bloodstock yearling sales series in Christchurch on April 17. A colt by Raise The Flag - Ardent Fire (a half sister to Emerald Fire) is also in the WR draft. Chequered Flag, a 4yr-old by Raise The Flag - Star Of Mulwala) won a 2100m maiden at Te Rapa  and Mal d'Mour ( Gallant Guru -  Moi Amour) won a 1200m maiden at Riccarton on Thursday (3/3/16). Chequered Flag, trained at Cambridge by Mark Brooks, was bred by Shane and Sharyn Anderton and sold for $21,000 to P A Willetts at the NZ Bloodstock Festival yearling sale. Chequered Flag is the first foal of Star Of Mulwala, who won five races. Mal d'Mour, trained by John (the owner) and Karen Parsons, is the first foal of Moi Amour, an unraced mare by Elusive City.
