Tough Task Ahead....

Trainer Shane Anderton  feels High Forty  faces a tough task in the Ron Williamson Otago Hurdles at Wingatui on Sunday.  "It is his first up over jumps this campaign and the ground will be very testing. Some of his rivals could have the wood on him,'' said Shane. High Forty ran a useful fifth on the flat at Oamaru last Friday, his second flat race in a fresh  campaign. He won the Otago Hurdles two years ago and finished fourth last winter when he won a steepechase at Washdyke. "We do not have a big representation on Sunday. Tedesco and Tug O'War will probably be spelled  afterwards. Cassandra's Dream may carry on.'' The 3yr-old Tedesco finished a creditable third at Ascot Park on May 11 when having his first start. Tug O'War won a maiden race at this meeting last year. Shane has been busy this week cleaning up  at White Robe Lodge after the storm last Saturday. "We took a  hiding with  nine or 10 trees blown down and one took out a shed. I have been flat out on the chainsaw,'' he said.
